An Ohio man was arrested Friday after authorities say he left a fuse on a fire hydrant while using the device to keep the fire hydrants cool.
A judge ordered Gary Hensley, 54, be held on $500,000 bail.
Hensley has a criminal history in Ohio, including a felony conviction for a misdemeanor drug charge in 2015.
He also has an extensive criminal history.
An arrest warrant indicates he also was found with a large amount of marijuana in his possession, court records show.
Hinsley was arrested after a tip from an unnamed man in the Cleveland area who called 911 to report a man who was “poking around in a box,” according to court records.
Hansley was released on a $500 bond Friday.
