Boxing has never been more exciting than it is today, and the biggest stars in the sport are making their mark in Las Vegas.
But the biggest star in the boxing world won’t be in town for the fight, and there’s no guarantee he’ll be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to take on the greatest of all time.
Instead, Mayweather, who is set to make his Mayweather vs, McGregor fight official in Las, is slated to headline the biggest show of the year at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Cruces, N.M.
When Mayweather makes his fight official, he’ll join former WBC and IBF champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who also fought in Las on Friday.
The fight, which is scheduled to take place on Nov. 8 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Venes, N, Nev., is expected to sell out.
The UFC, which has held events at the arena in the past, will hold a boxing preview show on Saturday, Nov 2, which will include a preview show of Alvarez’s bout with Mayweather.
Tickets for the card, which includes a pay-per-view and streaming package, are on sale now at the official Mayweather Promotions website.
Tickets are on general sale now and will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m.
Tickets also are available at the UFC Fan Experience at the hotel and Casino.
Tickets will go up for general sale at 10 a.man.
